ABSTRACT

Adaptive intervention(AI)is a methodology which dynamically evaluates adaptive variables at decision points and timely adjusts and develops tailored strategies to meet individual needs. The study reviewed the origin and development and elaborated the core elements(including intervention outcomes, intervention options, decision points, tailoring variables, and decision rules)and the classification of AI.Based on the literature, the key points of the design and implementation of AI were prospected, which can provide evidence for the research and development of health behavior intervention.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the feasibility and evaluate the teaching effect of case-based multidisciplinary team teaching mode in clinical practice teaching of gynecology.Method According to different grade,120 students were divided into experimental group and control group (60 students per group). The teaching content contained three malignant tumor cases, which were cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer. The course needed 12 periods totally. The experimental group received multidisciplinary team (MDT) teaching mode, and the control group received traditional lecture-based learning teaching mode (LBL).Teaching effect evaluation and test scores would be analyzed at the end of teaching.SPSS19.0 was used for t test and chi-square test. Results Our results showed that the theory test scores, practical skills test scores, the paperwork scores and the total scores of the students in MDT group were significantly higher than those in the traditional group (P<0.05).At the same time, the students' self-evaluation scores in the ability of information retrieval, acquisition, understanding, comprehensive and the ability of self-learning,learning interest, enthusiasm and teamwork were significantly higher than the traditional group (P<0.05).Conclusion MDT teaching mode is feasible, which can improve teaching effect and students' quality, and is worthy of advocating and popularization.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression of dual-specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6) in ovarian epithelial serous tumors and the relationship between DUSP6 expression and the clinicopathological parameters of ovarian serous cystoadenocarcinoma. Methods The expression of DUSP6 was analyzed by immunohistochemistry.Relationships between the expression of DUSP6 and the clinicopathological parameters of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma were also analyzed. Results DUSP6 expression was lower in patients with ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma group with serum CA125 levels of less than or equal to 900 U/mL than in patients with serum CA125 levels of greater than 900 U/mL (P < 0.05) and in patients whose ascites volume was less than or equal to 500 mL than in patients whose ascites volume was greater than 500 mL (P < 0.05).Conclusion DUSP6 is related to the occurrence of ovarian serous carcinoma and is potentially related to the peritoneal metastasis of ovarian serous carcinoma.DUSP6 may be a new molecule for the early diagnosis and therapy of ovarian serous carcinoma and peritoneal metastasis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To isolate carboplatin-resistant human ovarian cancer stem-like cells and provide a cellular model for the development and screening of second-line drugs for carboplatin-resistant ovarian cancer. Methods Primary ovarian cancer cells were isolated and cultured from ovarian cancer tissues and ascites, and ovarian cancer stem-like cell spheres were isolated from serum-free suspension culture directly or after carboplatin induction. The expression of stem cell markers was evaluated by immunofluorescent assay or flow cytometry. Results The ovarian cancer stem-like cell spheres were isolated successfully from both ovarian cancer tissues and ascites and expressed high levels of stem cell markers CD133,ALDH1,ABCG2,and CD24.The abundance of CD24+ cells in the ovarian cancer stem cells was significantly increased upon short-term induction with carboplatin.Condusion Ovarian cancer stem-like cells can be enriched and purified by short-term induction with carboplatin. This cell model can be used in research on chemoresistant ovarian cancer in the future.

ABSTRACT

Objective Discuss the clinical efficacy of caffeine citrate and aminophylline in treatment of primary apnea of prematurity. Methods 80 cases of primary apnea of prematurity were selected. They were divided into two groups randomly. The control group (40 cases) received aminophylline treatment and the observation group (40 cases) received caffeine citrate therapy. The efficacy of caffeine citrate and aminophylline in treatment of primary apnea ofprematudty was evaluated by efficacy, primary apnea episodes and disappeared time, adverse reaction during treatment. Results The effective rate of observation group was 85%,the effective rate of control group was 75%.The observation group had higher efficiency (P < 0.05).The frequency of apnea of observation group was less than that of the control group. The disappearance time of observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05).During the treatment, the tachycardia, feeding intolerance, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and other adverse reactions rate of observation group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Compared with aminophylline, caffeine citrate had a good therapeutic effect of primary apnea of prematurity. It can reduce apnea frequency, eliminate clinical symptoms with high safety. It was an ideal drug for treatment of primary apnea.
